JD Baker a new author has two published books, “RACK-EM” and “SHORT STORIES AND LIES” JD has traveled and lived in foreign countries including Venezuela, Netherlands, and Scotland. He worked in the Oil & Gas Industry and was a public speaker and author of “DON’T  FORGET ME WHEN I AM GONE,” A book on how to become the best salesman in the world.

JD served in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972 with one tour in Vietnam 1969-1970. JD also played in a band, Soul Purpose and various other bands as a singer His last performance was when he was 60 years old. Upon request he will still sing you an original song. He writes songs and now writes short stories for all to enjoy.

JD Baker lives in the beautiful mountains of Murphy NC with his wife Sherri and their Catahoula dog Jolie. He is very involved with the American Legion and has held the positions of District Commander of North Carolina and he also served as District Chaplain for 6 years. Writing short stories has become JD Baker’s main stay in life.
